"Two Generals" Final Cover

When I was writing my last post, I'd done the cover illustration for Two Generals, but the final design hadn't yet been approved. It has now, though, so here it is, for all the world to see:

The design work is by Jennifer Lum, who is, in fact, the person responsible for bringing the book to McClelland & Stewart in the first place. I really, really like the simple, understated elegance of it. And it was Jen's idea to have the book itself resemble a diary, with the leather-like texture, rounded corners, embossed text, strap enclosure, etc. She really knocked it out of the park.
