Now that it's out, Tower of Treasure has begun to receive some downright enthusiastic reviews, in print and online.
Kirkus Reviews (you'll need a subscription to see the full review) calls the book "fast paced, cleanly illustrated, great fun".
The current (September) issue of Canadian literary magazine Quill & Quire has a starred review by Gary Butler that reads, in part, "standard capes-and-tights comics are full of fisticuffs, but too often the action merely explodes, rather than dancing within the panels. Chantler, on the other hand, creates thrilling action sequences that don’t sacrifice sense for sizzle, making this the kind of fantasy tale that can be relished by children of all ages."
In the online world, people seem just as pleased with the book. Travis Jonker gives it a nice write-up over at 100 Scope Notes, and Robin Brenner calls it "a happy surprise" over at Good Comics for Kids.
Thanks to one and all for good notices.
