"Two Generals" Pencils Underway

With the latest round of script and layout changes for Two Generals having been recently approved by the folks at McClelland & Stewart, I'm finally free to draw the rest of the book (a small handful of pages had been pencilled back when the project was at Tundra Books, most of which I've been able to reuse, with some tweaks). I got started last week, and am quite pleased with how things are going so far.

I've posted a few panels that I like, and which really capture the spirit of the early part of the book. So, enjoy this brief preview...(much) more to come!

This looks fantastic, Scott. I really like the nuance to the figures - and the slightly "broad shouldered" heroic look. It really suits your style. Cannot WAIT to see this book finished... a labour of love that looks like it will reflect that in the finished work...

There's nothing heroic about the material, but there's something about the cut of those uniform jackets that just makes you look like you could wrestle a horse. I guess that's why they made them that way.
