It's just my luck that when I finally crack one of the best illustration markets in North America, it goes out of business. But that's unfortunately what's happened to
Nickelodeon Magazine, which since 1992 has been showcasing some of the best cartoonists and illustrators around. I got in there at pretty much the last minute before it shut its doors, the latest victim of the downturn in newspaper and magazine publishing.
The illustrations below appear in the "No-Way Novelties" section of this month's issue, which will, sadly, be the last. I'm just happy to have had the opportunity to contribute to such an institution while it lasted.
Thanks, Nickelodeon, for 17 years of great cartooning!

Sensational! Did you colour these, too? If so, then I demand that you never work black & white again!
If not, then I merely request it.
Yep, those are my colours. Glad you like 'em...but I'll probably never stop thinking of myself as a black & white guy.
Then I graciously demote my demand to a desire.
