"Three Thieves" Pencils in the Can

It's been a long four months, but 108 pages worth of pencil art for Three Thieves: Tower of Treasure just came off the scanner. Here are some highlights of the swashbuckling action, or at least ones that don't give away any major plot points. As always, you can click on the images for larger versions. Enjoy!

  1. Hey Scott, the pages looks great...what's you're process for inking? If these are pencil scans are we to understand that you ink in the computer or is this just for "archival" purposes?

  2. Hi Lex,

Mostly the pencils are scanned so that the publisher can get a look at the pages and approve things before I go forward with anything as permanent as ink. But it's also nice to have a back-up of the pencilled pages, just in case.

Colouring I do in Photoshop, but I ink with brushes on board, the old fashioned way.
