New "Northwest Passage" Reviews

Sure, the book has been out for a year and a half and is headed for a second printing, but that doesn't mean it's too late for new reviews of The Annotated Northwest Passage!

First, newspaper arts & entertainment editor John E. Mitchell gives the book a thumbs-up over at The Last Visible Blog.

Second, Don MacPherson gives the book a 10/10 at Eye on Comics. He also comes as close as anyone has yet to appreciating what was meant by the book's title...so give yourself a cigar, Don!

Thanks for the positive (if somewhat delayed) notices, gentlemen!

I only came across your book at the Public Library a couple of weeks ago. My son (11) and I both enjoyed it very much. Hopefully you will get a chance to do more with these characters sometime in the future. Until then I am really looking forward to Two Generals after having poked around this blog a bit.

Too bad it won't be out before 2010. I am really trying to up the CanCon of a little project called Operation Bricklord I am helping organize for a LEGO convention in the fall. (See my prototype Canadian LEGO Soldier.)

Anyway, keep up the good work!

Thanks for stopping in, Ted.

New NORTHWEST PASSAGE stories will be along one day, but not in the immediate future. I need to get some of this other work off my desk first.

And I wouldn't hold your breath for 2010 where TWO GENERALS is concerned, either...see this post for why. Trust me, though, it's going to be worth the wait!
