After a year and a half of negotiating, research, writing, more research, switching publishers, renegotiating, rewriting, and so on, my script for Two Generals has FINALLY been approved! Now I'm working on some thumbnail layouts, and will begin pencilling as soon as Three Thieves: Tower of Treasure is in the can.

Scott Chantler is an acclaimed graphic novelist and popular commercial illustrator, whose past and present clients include McDonald’s, Reebok, Macy’s, Rogers, Wiley & Sons, The New York Daily News, The National Post, The Toronto Star, Maclean’s, Nickelodeon Magazine, and Design Edge Canada.
To date, he has been nominated for three Shuster Awards, three Harvey Awards, a Doug Wright Award, a Russ Manning Award, and an Eisner Award--but has somehow managed to avoid actually winning any of them.
He is currently working on two major book projects: TWO GENERALS, a non-fiction graphic novel based on his own grandfather's experiences in WWII; and THREE THIEVES, a series of all-ages fantasy adventure graphic novels.

McClelland & Stewart. If all goes according to plan, it'll hit the shelves in spring 2010.
