Reviews for The Annotated Northwest Passage continue to appear, and most have been almost embarassingly positive. Here's a quick round-up of some of the most prominent links:
Ain't It Cool News calls it "a wild, crazy frontier ride. It’s fun, thrilling, and smart."
Earlier in the month the book turned up on the "Top Five Books of the Moment" lists of four of the five reviewers at Comic Pants.
And over at Comics Worth Reading, Johanna Draper Carlson calls the book "a modern classic." I'm blushing!

I just finished the book, Scott. It's freakin' amazing! I grew up in St. Vincent, MN which is right across the Red River of the North from Pembina, ND. A lot of Metis lived in the area of both these towns and between XYZ, HBC, etc. a lot of fur trade was done in the area. I was kind of hoping Pembina would pop up in your story, but I understand why it couldn't have. Anyways, it was amazing...but I have one question - it says Volume I, so does that mean there's more coming? I hope so!
Hi Trish,
I do have plans for further stories, and the story that's collected in the hardcover was always intended to be the first of several. However, none of those plans are immediate. I've got a few other projects lined up that I want to get to first (watch this site for announcements soon.)
And thanks for the nice comments...so glad you enjoyed the book!
Hey Scott,
Not sure if you saw my post on Clay's forum but I loved the book. The annotations just added to it as well, brought me back to the old school days too. Great story, amazing art, fun characters, the whole package. You deserve all of the praise that this book has garnered.
Geoff
